Shelly Beach, QLD
Full facade repainted white and the hardwood deck sanded and re-oiled.
A full exterior repaint and deck restoration at Shelly Beach, completed 10 February 2026. The house had faded, chalking cladding with a mustard feature tower, and the whole facade was brought back to a clean white. Cladding sheets and joints were washed down, scraped back where the old coating had lifted, filled and sanded, with bare and patched areas spot-primed before topcoats. Walls, the feature tower, fascias, eaves and downpipes were finished in two coats of exterior acrylic, cut in tight to window frames and the aluminium joinery, which was masked rather than coated. The hardwood deck was sanded back and re-oiled to bring the grain and colour up, and the handrails were recoated to match. Windows, glass balustrade wires, lights and the garage opening were masked throughout, and the site was cleared and swept each day.
