Double garage slab coated in grey epoxy with a blue and black flake finish.
An epoxy floor coating through a double garage, completed 1 March 2026. The slab was cleared, ground back and vacuumed to give the coating a clean mechanical key, with oil spots degreased and any cracks and pinholes filled before priming. The perimeter, the door threshold and the wall junction were taped and cut in by hand so the coating finishes on a straight line against the wall sheeting rather than creeping up it. A grey epoxy base was rolled out wet and broadcast with a blue, black and white vinyl flake through the body of the floor for grip and to hide everyday marking, then back-rolled and sealed with a clear topcoat for a hard-wearing, easy-to-sweep surface. The garage door tracks, wall sheeting, storage racking and the pool filter were masked and worked around, and the floor was left taped off to cure before the client moved back in.
