The exact services, materials, preparation requirements, inclusions and exclusions for each project will be confirmed in the applicable quotation, proposal or contract.
All quotes provided by Coat & Cure are based on the information reasonably available to us at the time the quote is prepared.

Where additional work or costs are identified, we will seek the customer's approval before proceeding wherever reasonably practicable.
A quote does not constitute acceptance of a contract until the relevant agreement or quotation has been accepted by both parties.
Acceptance of a quotation or proposal confirms the customer's agreement to the scope of work, price, inclusions and conditions stated in that quotation or the applicable contract.
Where a separate written building contract is required by Queensland law, the applicable contract will govern the project.
If there is any inconsistency between these website Terms & Conditions and a signed project contract, the signed project contract will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
Coat & Cure will perform the work described in the agreed scope.

The quality and durability of a coating can be affected by the condition of the existing surface.
Coat & Cure will undertake reasonable preparation appropriate to the agreed scope. However, existing issues such as moisture, rising damp, structural movement, cracking, previous coating failure, poor substrates, corrosion, contamination or defective building materials may affect the final result.
Where such conditions are identified, Coat & Cure may recommend additional preparation, repairs or treatment before applying coatings.
Coat & Cure is not responsible for defects caused by underlying building conditions that are outside the agreed scope of work, subject always to any rights the customer has under applicable law.
Customers are responsible for confirming their selected colours, finishes and coating preferences before work begins.
Colour appearance may vary depending on lighting, surface condition, existing colours and the characteristics of the selected coating.
Where a customer requests a particular colour or finish, Coat & Cure will use reasonable care to achieve the requested result.
Coat & Cure may select appropriate paints, primers, coatings and other materials based on the agreed scope and surface requirements.
Where a customer specifically requests a particular brand, product or material, availability and suitability will be subject to confirmation by Coat & Cure.
Product availability may be affected by supplier delays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Any change to the agreed scope may constitute a variation.
Variations may include:
Where reasonably practicable, Coat & Cure will provide the customer with details of the variation and any additional cost before the additional work is undertaken.
The customer must provide reasonable and safe access to the property and the areas where work is to be performed.
The customer should remove or secure valuable, fragile or personal belongings from work areas before work begins.
Where access is restricted or the property is not reasonably ready for the agreed work, the project may need to be delayed or additional costs may apply.
Coat & Cure may postpone or modify work where weather, site conditions or other circumstances make it unsafe or unsuitable to proceed.

Where work is delayed for reasons outside Coat & Cure's reasonable control, the completion date may be extended accordingly.
Any estimated commencement or completion dates are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Painting and coating work can be affected by weather, surface preparation, drying and curing times, material availability, access and unforeseen site conditions.
Coat & Cure will use reasonable efforts to complete projects within the agreed timeframe but is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Payment terms, deposits, progress payments and final payment requirements will be specified in the applicable quotation or contract.
Customers must make payments by the due dates stated in their invoice or contract.
Late payments may result in suspension of further work, subject to the customer's rights under applicable law and the terms of the relevant contract.
If you believe there is a problem with our services, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide details of the issue.
Where appropriate, Coat & Cure will inspect the relevant work and determine whether the issue relates to our workmanship, the materials used, an underlying condition or another cause.
Where a defect is attributable to Coat & Cure's workmanship, we will take reasonable steps to rectify the issue in accordance with the applicable contract and Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
For major failures with the service, you are entitled:
You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified within a reasonable time. If this is not done, you may be entitled to cancel the contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

Customers should remove valuable or fragile items from areas where work will occur.
If property is damaged as a result of Coat & Cure's negligence or failure to take reasonable care, the matter will be addressed in accordance with applicable law and the relevant contract.
Coat & Cure may apply coatings over existing surfaces and coatings where reasonably suitable.
The performance of a new coating can depend on the condition, adhesion and compatibility of existing materials.
Where an existing coating or substrate is defective, unstable, contaminated or otherwise unsuitable, Coat & Cure may recommend additional preparation or removal.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions prevents a customer from exercising any legal rights or remedies available to them.
