Walls, ceilings, doors and trim repainted throughout.
A full interior repaint through an open-plan living space, hallway and adjoining rooms. Every wall and ceiling was prepared from bare board — joins and fastener heads were set and sanded flush, minor dents filled, and the whole surface sealed before topcoats went on. Walls were rolled in two coats of a warm off-white in low-sheen, with ceilings finished flat to keep the downlights and track lighting from throwing glare across them. Doors, frames, skirting and architraves were cut in by hand and finished in a harder-wearing semi-gloss for everyday knocks and cleaning. Downlights, air-conditioning vents and sprinkler heads were masked individually and cut around rather than sprayed over, so every fitting sits with a clean line against the ceiling. Floors were fully covered with drop sheets for the duration of the job and the site was swept and cleared at the end of each day.
