The Work

An interior repaint through a Kingston home, completed 3 April 2026. Walls, ceilings, doors and trim were repainted room by room while the house was vacant between tenants, so the whole interior could be done in one continuous run. Walls were washed down, filled and sanded, with scuffs and picture-hook holes made good before sealing, then rolled in two coats of a warm off-white low-sheen — a soft neutral that holds its colour under both the window light and the ceiling fittings. Ceilings were finished flat in white to keep a clean line against the cornice, and skirting, architraves, door frames and doors were cut in by hand in semi-gloss for a hard-wearing, wipeable finish. Power points, switches, smoke alarms and ceiling fans were masked individually rather than removed, and cut-in lines to cornices and window reveals were run by brush. New vinyl plank flooring and tiled areas were fully sheeted for the duration and the house was left clean and ready for handover.
