Upper-level office fitout repainted through to a clean white finish, stairwell included.
The Work
A commercial fitout repaint through the upper-level office space of a Burleigh Heads business unit, covering the open-plan work area, landing and stairwell down to the ground floor. Walls and ceilings were washed down, filled and sanded before sealing, with the room fully masked and drop-sheeted while it was still an empty shell. Walls were rolled in two coats of a clean white low-sheen and ceilings finished flat, holding a crisp line into the raked ceiling junctions and around the recessed downlights and ceiling speakers. The stairwell and landing walls were cut in by hand around the exit signage, door hardware, wall-mounted handrail brackets and the feature wallcovering on the stair wall, which was masked and left untouched as a deliberate contrast against the fresh white. Skirting was finished in black to match the fitout's existing detailing, and the perimeter windows overlooking the car park were fully masked for the duration. The space was left clean and dust-free for the flooring and fit-out trades to follow.
