Full Interior & Exterior Repaint

The Work

A whole-of-house repaint on a large single-level home, covering every internal room and the full exterior envelope. Outside, the rendered and face brickwork was pressure washed and left to dry out properly before a masonry sealer went on, then two coats of a charcoal exterior membrane were rolled through the brick texture so the coating sat in the joints rather than bridging them. Fascia, gutters, downpipes, window frames and the timber-lined eaves were finished in the same charcoal to keep the roofline reading as one clean block, with the underside of the eaves cut in by hand around every light, vent and air-conditioning bracket. Inside, walls and ceilings were prepared from new board — joins set and sanded flush, fastener heads filled, and the whole surface sealed before topcoats. Walls were rolled in two coats of a warm white in low-sheen and ceilings finished flat, chosen so the black surface-mounted downlights and the stone and timber batten features stay the focus rather than the paint. Glass stacker doors, the stone feature wall, joinery and timber flooring were masked and sheeted throughout, and the site was swept and cleared at the end of every day.
